Overview

Since joining Russin & Vecchi in 2007, Sergey has been actively involved in advising multinational corporations on cross-border transactions and establishment of their operations in Russia. He has participated in a number of large projects, including assisting one of the world’s largest industrial corporations in acquiring a group of Russian coal producers; advising an investment group from Southeast Asia on constructing a modern agricultural complex in Russia; and counselling global media, telecommunication and IT companies on compliance with Russian regulatory requirements.

Sergey advises clients on formation of joint venture companies, implementation of anti-corruption policies and compliance in Russia with the FCPA requirements, corporate governance, structuring M&A deals, debt recovery and dispute resolution. He also represents clients in international arbitration proceedings and assists with enforcement of foreign arbitral awards. The Best Lawyers recognized him as an expert in investments, labor law and employment matters.
