Mr. Lyapin graduated from the School of Law at the Far Eastern Federal University with a specialization in international private law and subsequently obtained an LL.M. in transnational business practice from the McGeorge School of Law at the University of the Pacific. He is a recipient of the Edmund S. Muskie Fellowship. Mr. Lyapin also holds a B.S. degree in Finance from Plekhanov Russian University of Economics. Mr. Lyapin is admitted to practice law as an advocate and is a member of the Moscow Region Bar Association.
Mr. Lyapin specializes in civil and criminal litigation, international commercial arbitration, white collar crime, international M&A, and commercial, corporate, tax and intellectual property law. He has more than 15 years of experience in advising Russian and foreign corporations on complex domestic and international transactions. Mr. Lyapin is a trademark attorney qualified by the Federal Service for Intellectual Property (Rospatent). He is also a licensed tax consultant.
