Overview

Sergey Batov joined Russin & Vecchi in 2019. He has vast experience in international maritime and transport law, insurance, legal regulation of corporate governance, real estate transactions, structuring contractual relations, supporting investment projects, and M&A deals.

From 2000 to 2017, Sergey worked for the largest private logistics holding in Russia — the FESCO Transportation Group, where he moved from lawyer to Director of the Legal Department. Working for FESCO, Sergey was responsible for legal support of the company’s domestic and international business operations, handling real estate issues, dealing with other corporate, administrative, labor and insurance issues, and representing the company’s interests in arbitration proceedings.
